Mountain Province Diamonds’ primary asset is its 49% interest in the Gahcho Kué Mine, a Joint Venture with De Beers Canada, who holds a 51% interest and acts as the operator.
Mountain Province Diamonds also holds 100% of Kennady North, an advanced diamond exploration project that surrounds Gahcho Kué. The Kennady assets include three kimberlites for which resources have been estimated. These kimberlites are located less than ten kilometers from the Gahcho Kué Mine.

Gahcho Kué is one the world's largest diamond mines by annual carat production and includes several kimberlites that are being mined and/or explored for future development. The Gahcho Kué joint venture includes an area of 5,216 hectares of mining leases with the mine designed to have a compact, energy-efficient footprint of just under 1,300 hectares..
The Kennady North project is a 100%-owned, advanced diamond exploration project that surrounds the Gahcho Kué Mine and covers an area of 96,000 hectares. Three of nine kimberlites have estimated resources and are located less than ten kilometers from the Gahcho Kué Mine.
